In preparation for the 2023 JEA High School Journalism Convention, Emerson College School of Communication sought to revamp its branding and campaign strategy to effectively represent its Journalism department. Let's delve into the collaborative effort to redefine the brand identity and develop compelling materials for the event, with a focus on the creation of the tagline "Take the Lede" and the design of various promotional items.
One of the pivotal aspects of this project was the creation of a tagline that encapsulated the essence of Emerson's Journalism department. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions, the tagline "Take the Lede" emerged as a powerful rallying cry.
I worked with the team over at the School of Communications to design an array of visually striking assets that would leave a lasting impression on convention attendees, and focus on Students, Alumni, and Faculty. 
I focused on designing dynamic tradeshow towers, backdrops, and signage that captured the attention of passersby. Bold typography, vibrant colors, and compelling imagery were strategically placed to convey the department's energy and expertise. 
In addition to the tradeshow graphics, I developed an attention-grabbing advertisement and social media campaigns to be featured in convention materials and publications.
